Pastor Shahbaz , founder and president of Advent Lighthouse Ministries, was born in Iran and raised in a Shia Muslim family before immigrating to the United States in 1979. His journey to Christianity began with early impressions of Jesus and later a series o powerful experiences that led him to embrace Chrstian faith. After searching for a church that aligned with his convictions, he eventually joined the Seveneth day Adventist church, where he pursued theological training with a focus on reaching people of Muslim backgrounds.
Today, AAdvent Lighthouse Ministries supports church-planting efforts across several countries in the Middle east, Europe , and United Stetaes. The ministry partners with and trains indegenous Bible workers who lead home churches, provide spiritual support, and share hope in regions where traditional outreach is often restricted. Through these efforts, countless inividuals are learning about Christianity – many through personal connections, dreas, and digital outreach. Advent Lighthouse Ministries countinues to expand its work by faith, aiming to bring encouragement, resources, and the message of Christ to communites that are often difficult to reach.
