The leadership team at Advent Lighthouse Ministries is dedicated to steering our mission with wisdom, compassion, and a deep commitment to Christ. Each leader brings a unique blend of experience and faith, ensuring our ministry remains aligned with our core values and focused on reaching the Muslim community.
Pastor Shahbaz was born in Iran and raised in a devout Shia Muslim family. As a young boy, he immigrated to the United States with his family, navigating the challenges of adapting to a new culture while holding firmly to his religious upbringing. Though he was sincere in his faith, it was at the age of 18 that his life took a dramatic turn. While seeking forgiveness and truth, he encountered Jesus Christ in a personal, literal, and transformative way. That powerful conversion experience forever changed the direction of his life and ignited within him a deep desire to share the gospel with others.
Since 1999, Pastor Shahbaz has faithfully served the Seventh-day Adventist Church as an author, pastor, teacher, and evangelist. His unique cross-cultural background enables him to connect with people from diverse religious and cultural contexts, especially those from Muslim backgrounds. With a strong commitment to biblical truth and a deep passion for soul-winning, his ministry focuses on proclaiming Christ, equipping believers, and reaching those who have not yet heard the gospel.
Through preaching, teaching, writing, and evangelistic outreach, Pastor Shahbaz seeks to inspire others to experience the transforming power of Jesus Christ. His testimony continues to open doors for meaningful dialogue and gospel-centered ministry across communities and cultures.
He and his wife, Sara, are blessed with five children, three of whom are now grown and living on their own.
Pastor Shahin was born in Iran and raised in a Shia Muslim family. From an early age, he was deeply rooted in his religious upbringing. However, as a young man, he experienced a dramatic and life-changing conversion that led him from Islam to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Since graduating from Weimar College in 2004, Pastor Shahin has faithfully served the Seventh-day Adventist Church as a pastor, evangelist, and Bible worker. His unique background gives him a special burden for reaching those from Muslim and secular backgrounds who are searching for truth and hope. With compassion and clarity, he shares the message of salvation and the transforming power of God’s Word.
Pastor Shahin has also worked extensively through media ministry, public evangelism, and personal Bible studies. He has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to proclaiming the everlasting gospel.
Pastor Shahin finds great joy in opening the Scriptures with anyone who desires to better understand God’s truth. His love for soul-winning is evident and contagious, encouraging others to grow in their faith and actively participate in Christ’s mission.
Pastor Shahin and his wife, Jennifer, continue to serve together in ministry, united in their desire to see lives transformed by the power of the gospel.
Sister Soroor joined Advent Lighthouse after graduation to serve Jesus Christ and help spread the Good news in Iran. She is now helping writing the booklets in the most fluent form of Farsi so our bible studies can be used in Iran by millions.
Brother Sam joined forces with us while he is directing another ministry: “NAministry” , he is helping us with the website, media creation and edition and is passionate about spreading the Gospel in Iran. You can hear his voice in the “Genesis Conflict” series and “Total Onslaught” series in Farsi.
Sister Pegah, is helping us with the content preparation for all our social media platforms. Also she is recorind audiobooks in farsi to help spread the message of Gospel in Iran.
